Nikos Efstathiou is the chef behind the kitchen at Giagia Koukou.

He began cooking professionally in 2009 and has worked in restaurants in Greece and abroad, building experience across different kitchens and culinary styles.

At Giagia Koukou, his focus has remained rooted in Greek cuisine, the flavours, memories, and dishes people return to instinctively, approached with the discipline and precision of a contemporary restaurant kitchen.

His cooking balances familiarity with detail. A recipe may begin from memory, but evolves through technique, balance, texture, and unexpected combinations that give it a different depth.
